How matching, handovers and the beta work.
Yes. During the beta, there are no listing fees, commissions or payments. You exchange objects in person. Each account can swipe through 10 different items a day.
You like someone’s object, and they like one of yours. That mutual interest opens a conversation. You both decide whether to proceed, agree on the details and confirm the exchange together.
You decide whether an exchange feels right. Swapness privately estimates a value range to help keep suggestions roughly balanced, but prices are never displayed. Your interest in the object is what matters.
Agree on the swap in the chat and meet in a public place. Inspect both objects. Each person photographs the object they receive, then you use the four-digit codes in the app to confirm the handover together.
